Connecting More Families to Early Care and Education Programs Through Streamlined Enrollment

The New Practice Lab at New America “works to improve family economic security and wellbeing – through the way social policy is designed and delivered.“ This brief shares findings from the Early Care and Education Implementation Working Group, a group of early care and education leaders from across the country dedicated to delivering high-quality early childhood services to families. In an effort to find make enrollment as seamless a possible, the brief outlines centralized enrollment as a “strategy that administrators can deploy to streamline and simplify processes for families, increasing the likelihood they will enroll their child in high-quality care and education programs.”
