The Future Security initiative at New America is a partnership between New America and Arizona State University. “It reconceptualizes U.S. security policy towards a holistic engagement with current and future challenges including domestic terrorism, armed drones, climate change, pandemics, rising authoritarianism, and new and emerging technologies.an initiative “for reimagining a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable global order.”

This report provides an in-depth examination of the existing frameworks developed to understand the rapid spread of misinformation and disinformation and the significant challenges they bring to society, along with “recommendations to guide policymakers and practitioners in developing effective strategies to combat misinformation in ways that prioritize transparency, accountability, and public trust.”
